Due to poor condition of roads, lanes
open manholes, uncontrolled traffic have developed the shape of
city of Jabalpur as a big village. We are determined to
change this. In the first phase, work of development of five
crossing are under progress. Under this, Allahabad Bank crossing
situated at Civil lines have been developed as a biggest
crossing. Side by side work at Kaanch ghar, Chowk and Raddi
chowki, Madan mahal chowk and damoh naka crossing is having done
on war footing.

Work of widening of roads, plastering
lanes, construction of drains and culverts, pathways dividers
etc are being done at a cost of Rs. 9.00 crore |

Arrangements have been made for lights
at crossing through modern signal system. |

We are determined to change the shape of
jabalpur into the shape of Metropolitan city within four
years. |

Work of widening the path are under
progress. Work of smooth flow of sewage water construction of
drains of each ward is under progress. |

|
Modifications have been done for
construction of roads on the pattern of modern road from
Damohnaka to Madan mahal station under this scheme from
Ranital to Adhartal construction fore lane road work will
start in coming six months. |

Construction work has started not for
one but for three four lane road. Under this scheme four
lane road construction work has already been started from
meter Guage live gate to medical at a cost of Rs 12.72
crore. |
